For Stores
What you get, day to day
Once your store's point-of-sale system is connected to the GOTR Shopify app, your sales data syncs automatically — no manual entry, no spreadsheets to maintain. From there, you get your own dashboard: your sales, your inventory, and your patterns, laid out where you can actually use them.
Why comparison adds something a single store's view can't
You can see your own numbers clearly already. What you can't see on your own is whether a quiet month is just you, or something happening more widely across similar stores. That's what comparing against other stores adds — not a replacement for your own judgment, but a way to check it against something real.
How comparison actually works
You connect your store and give consent to share your data through the GOTR Shopify app — nothing is captured or synced before that. Once you do, your data is combined with at least ten other stores in your country before any comparison is shown to anyone — including you. That minimum isn't a guideline; it's a hard floor built into how the numbers are calculated, so no comparison can ever be traced back to a single store, including your own.
Both of these are free: your own dashboard inside the GOTR Shopify app, and — once enough stores are contributing — seeing your store's performance measured against the wider comparison. There's no charge, as long as the aggregate data you're viewing is from your own country.
What this tells you that nothing else does
Once enough stores are contributing, you can see how your own sales are moving against other running stores — not just whether you're up or down this month, but whether that's a pattern specific to your store or one showing up more widely. That's hard to get any other way: brands rarely share what they're seeing across the market with store owners, and comparing notes with other owners only goes as far as who you happen to know.
Where your data lives
Your store's data is stored and processed within the European Union — specifically in Amsterdam, Netherlands — under EU data protection law.
Getting started
We're currently working with independent running stores in the UK, with plans to bring this to stores across Europe over time.
